Companion Ability 1:

Shuttle Mode - The G.R.O. was originally designed as a shuttle craft by Kaiser Vormav, because of this it still has a transformation mode that allows its body to shift and reconfigure itself into a space shuttle used for travel. The inner compartment is big enough for two or three people and includes storage compartments for food, clothing, and other required items for long trips. When The G.R.O. has transformed into this mode, it's obvious. His legs fold up under his abdomen, his wings spread wide, his neck shortens and his head locks down into place... The real fun starts when the twin engines drop from the underside of the wings however, as The G.R.O. is capable of traveling at speeds approaching the speed of light when in full-on Intergalactic Travel mode. Not only is The G.R.O. capable of space travel in this mode, but also flight, and even underwater travel. (Action Ability)

Companion Ability 2:

Assault Mode - Many years after The G.R.O. had been built he fell into the possession of Krauser Killener. It was at this point he was "upgraded" with modes beyond Shuttle Mode. The first of those modes is Assault Mode. While in this mode, The G.R.O. is capable of incredible destruction. This mode converts his twin engines into energy canons. When transforming from Shuttle to Assault Mode the engines turn in place under his wings and instead of producing a constant propulsion instead readjust to fire beams of destructive, cie powered, plasma energy. When focused together as a single beam this method of attack can be shockingly devastating. In fact, Krauser once used it while constructing Cloud Nine to bore a tunnel deep into a small planetoid which orbited planet Solaris. In this mode The G.R.O. is also capable of producing short burst of energy from his mouth chamber. (Action Ability)

Companion Ability 3:

Tank Mode - The defensive Tank Mode is yet another of the modes that Krauser has added to The G.R.O. over the years. While in this mode the machines head drops and tucks in, while armor plating on his neck spreads for protection. The wings spread and lower to the sides of the body, head, and portions of the back, and finally, the legs shorten and tank-like treads flip down from the under body for slow but protected travel. This mode may only be used while on land and the only offensive capability in this mode is the mouth canon, however, in this mode the energy normally used for the twin engine is instead used to empower the mouth canon. The mouth canon may produce single, short, long distance blast in this mode or long drawn out streams of energy which are capable devastating blasts. (Action Ability)

The GRO's past...

This is a giant replica of an Osperian, it stands about twenty-five feet tall and weighs about two tons. It was constructed by the Solaris City head scientist, Kaiser Vormav, when he was on a distant planet as a means of transportation. He used it as a shuttle to return home. It seems to have a mind of its own and always tries to do the opposite of what it's master tells it to do. When someone is not inside of it at the controls, it can do whatever it wants unless it is shut down completely. It has the personality of a large puppy, oddly enough.
