Character's history...

Balthazar Silverburg is a powerful Lunarian who came to planet Solaris via a dimensional tear. He first arrived during "The Second Flux" storyline and stuck with the warriors of Solaris through thick and thin. Towards the end of The Second Flux storyline Balthazar ventured into the world of Solaris on his own and even designed and constructed a castle and village he named Castle Elmore, after his birthplace on Planet Lunaris which has long been destroyed. Balthazar sided with the warriors of Solaris who were against the Brotherhood of Anguish at the time, but when the Neolarions from the "Wrath of the Neolarions" storyline arrived a monkey wrench was thrown into his plans and he wound up venturing back in time with the warriors of Solaris during an event known as "The Undoing." In the new storyline "Age of the Ancients" Balthazar has mostly been at work behind the scenes creating a new Castle Elmore and starting his new life in the old world of Solaris.

Character's story on Planet Solaris...

On his home world of Lunaris, Balthazar was a member of powerful group of warriors known as the "Royal Guard" in his civilization. When Planet Lunaris was destroyed, along with the solar system and galaxy, Balthazar was somehow trapped in an interdimensional rift in space and time. One moment he was at home and the very next, like every other Lunarian on Planet Solaris, he was dropped in the middle of a strange new world without a clue.

Balthazar awoke in the middle of a forest with everything he had on him before it all went dark. He was confused, shaken, and worrying what happened to his children and wife. Unfortunately, Balthazar would never see his family again. He had lost everyone and everything he had ever known. He got up and brushed himself off and began exploring the forest when out of nowhere a strange man in a crimson shroud dropped out of the sky right in front of him. Very uneasy and confused, Balthazar immediately drew his weapon on the man and a brief battle ensued. The newcomer said nothing at first, he wouldn't even answer Balthazar's questions. After a few moments of battle the man finally stopped and removed his shroud and introduced himself to Balthazar as Krauser Killener. He welcomed Balthazar to the new world and began to explain things to him. Balthazar didn't believe him at first, but came about over the following days as he noticed many new things and met other new people introduced to him by Krauser.

After a few weeks Balthazar began to fit in with the rest of the regulars of Elyndrel Village and over time he made friends and came to terms with the fact that he would never see anyone he had lost again. At some point after his arrival Balthazar made a camp in the Osperian Forest and eventually constructed a castle he named Elmore, after his birthplace and home. Things were going well for the Lunarian and he was really starting to fit in and find his place in the new world when a terrible cataclysm occurred and all of the warriors of Solaris were sent approximately 30,000 years into the past to escape certain death.

Character's present...

Balthazar now resides as the Leader and Founder of the new, new Castle Elmore in the ancient world of Planet Solaris. He is a kind leader and prides himself on being fair and righteous to all those who follow him and live in his new town. Balthazar is working feverishly on building his new civilization and restoring a new order of Avengers, Paladins, and Clerics. While he's usually busy getting things done around the castle and town, Balthazar is still one of the most powerful warriors in all of Solaris and is a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield, especially with a small army of Paladins and Clerics at his side...
