Armor:

Armor of the Mind - The nature of the plane on which an Eatherling truly exists is a subject of debate among even the most advanced scholars. One might argue that to an Eatherling, a being that transcends the physical world as to not even be a part of it, a mundane thing like a breastplate would be but mere wisps of fog. This is, in fact, not the case. But just as an opponents armor can diminish an Eatherlings attack, so too can “armor” worn on the Eather plane diminish the attack of a creature from the material plane. This “Armor of the Mind” is superior to mundane armor in that, just like an Eatherling, it has no physical properties, and as such, does not cut down on the mobility of an Eatherling. (Class: Cloth)

Accessories:

Echoes of the Brethren - Not so much an item as a unique quality inherent in the Eatherling mind, this can vaguely be described by the term “collective conciousness.” What one Eatherling feels, experiences, or sees, all eatherlings feel, experience, or see by proxy.

Energy Lattice - It is a constant in both physics and nature: the simplest machine is often the best. While physical bodies are ripe with hormones and catalyzing enzymes and all manner of specialized cells, tissues, organs, and systems, the Eatherling “body” is but one particle of energy, held in a static, ever-constant pattern. This decentralized quality means an Eatherling is unaffected by increased detriment when being struck in vital areas because he does not truely have vital areas. This also makes the poisons and diseases usless against an Eatherling because infected cells will just be removed and replaced with any other available tissue.

Negative Energy Connections - The transcendent nature of Eatherlings has allowed for a multitude of exploration, not just across dimensions of space and time, but through the sheer fabric of reality as well. Eatherlings have explored planes both above and below their own, and in the lowest, where constructs such as matter, space, or time are too complicated to exist, they found something- in fact, they found nothing. A chasm where even the basest constructs of reality cease to exist. Akistos has developed a connection of sorts to this plane of nothingness. In effect, he has created a channel along which energy can flow, allowing it to pass through him and into this gaping void, rather than trying to resist it. Once per battle, Akistos can transfer the power from a single force attack that has connected with him to this plane of nothingness and preventing him from taking any damage. He cannot transfer an attack with more clicks of power than he has maximum hit points.

Level 5 Ability:

Ascended Consciousness - Where the consciousness of solid creatures is usually tied inexorably to their physical bodies, the consciousness of an Eatherling has ascended to a higher plane of existence, and is not tied to any physical thing- rather, it is merely “projected” onto this plane. Thus, abilities that affect the mental state or attitude of an Eatherling are greatly reduced. To be effective, the wielder of these abilities must have a Vitality score that exceeds Akistos’ Vitality score by two times. (Passive Ability)

Level 25 Ability:

Vital Presence - Eatherlings, lacking a physical body or mind, have long since taken to studying the mysteries of consciousness, willpower, and thought. Untold eons of study and practice have produced in them a race more in tune with their own life-energies than any other race. This ability increases Akistos' energy potency by 0.1. (Preset Ability)

Level 35 Ability:

Energy Dissipation - Eather energy, without a pattern to hold it in a stable state, is highly disruptive and chaotic. As such, it can have negative effects on other forms of energy as well. Akistos can nullify an incoming energy attack by intercepting the energy with an amount of his own PL equal to 1/4 the total incoming attack. The Eather energy, lacking Akistos' controlling influence, will degrade and disrupt the energy patterns of the incoming attack, reducing it to mere particles of what it once was- without form, direction, or danger. Spells or other abilities powered by MP are unaffected by this ability. An incoming energy attack cannot be only partially defused. (Reaction Ability)

Level 45 Ability:

Dimensional Projection - Akistos' unique connection to both Solaris and the Eather realm allows him to effectively "pull" the two together. This devastating ability effectively merges the two realms, anchoring a "rip" to the eather realm around Akistos. Anyone who ventures too close to Akistos- and therefore, the rift- is damaged by the turbulent energies native to the realm. Characters who brave the disruptive eddies and move close enough to lay a weapon against Akistos take five percent of their maximum HP in damage per prep. This ability's range of effect is approximately 10 feet in any direction from Akistos- any farther than that and the energy dissipates too far to be effective. (Passive Ability)

Temporal Compression - Akistos can compress the particles of his body so densely that they begin to emit a gravitational field so powerful that time is slowed as one draws closer to Akistos. Thrown weapons, energy attacks, and even other individuals who enter this field find that from their perspective, Akistos moves much faster than he normally does. From Akistos' perspective, anything or anyone that enters this field moves significantly slower, allowing Akistos more time to react. This allows him to make incredibly precise strikes that can bypass a character's defenses or target vulnerable areas, or to make agile dodges. (In-game effects: Akistos' dodge and hit ratings are increased by 50% each. Activating this ability requires one prep, and each post this ability remains active consumes 4% of Akistos' maximum power level.) (Action Ability)

Level 85 Ability:

Acute Sensitivity - Eatherlings are suitably advanced that they are aware of the subtle flow of time and space around them, and this grants them a perception that seems to border on precognizance. As such, Akistos’ energy attacks in particular are devastating accurate- not only in where they hit but how. (Passive Ability)

Akistos' past...

Lumione Therion was a legend. Having lived several trillion years, Lum spent the last few years of his life on the planet Solaris. But due to the eternal effects of entropy, Lumione died over several days as his crystalline lattice decayed, and all his personality, memories, and everything he was faded with it. As his lattice broke down, the eatherling died. All that was left as the energies within him receded was a small globe of pure Eather energy.

It was from this miniscule amount of energy that Akistos came. As Lum's influence faded, the energy rearranged, establishing a new crystalline lattice. Akistos is the first Eatherling whose creation was witnessed by non-Eatherlings, leading to much confusion as to whether Lum had died or simply changed.

However, Akistos is indeed an entirely new being, who has no memory of Lum. However, because of an unexplained attraction to the Remembrance Glade where Lum dispersed his energies, Akistos discovered that the remnants of Lum’s energy and Akistos’ own energy vibrated at the same frequency. Using this discovery, Akistos was able to absorb a small portion of the massive power remaining in the glade. Akistos’ power continues to grow, and only time will tell what kind of Eatherling he will become.
