Custom Technology - Any item can be mechanically upgraded for any number of uses, giving it special properties or maybe even additional capabilities. When a character is granted a Custom Item from the Level Guide, he may receive it with a variety of enchantments already in place, but if he wants to upgrade it further with technological powers, the Solaris Laboratory is the place to get it. Each custom technology must be completely unique, just like any Custom Item.

Distress Beacons - As a small, square, metallic device, they easily fit into most pockets or whatnot. Examining it, it looks very simplistic, being a square cube, with three colored buttons, from left to right, green, red, and blue. The beacon itself does nothing alone. But when programmed to communicate with another beacon(s), they can be very powerful. The green button will send out a signal to anyone who also has a beacon with them. The red button signals their location and notifies others that they are in danger or distress and are requesting assistance as soon as possible. The blue button temporarily shields the user for one force attack, reducing the next attack by 50%. Someone can teleport themselves from one beacon's location to another by using the device and holding the green button for three seconds. The only thing is that one cannot teleport if they are not in a relaxed state. Teleportation is dangerous if the body's blood pressure is too high, therefore, the device cannot be used in combat situations. One can teleport to someone in combat, just not out of combat.

Infoview 5000 – The original Infoview 5000 was made my Krauser Killener before the Second Flux and was used to fix the Communications Kiosk that resides within the Arena of the Elites. It also comes with a map of the entire planets surface, a compass, and can show energy levels of anyone or anything under level fifty. This is a small handheld device about the size of a cell phone. This device uses the ancient Solarian Orbital Array that was once used for Solaris City Security Headquarters concerns. It is powered by Solarian Cie Cell technology, and will virtually last forever unless it is physically damaged.

Bodily Implants
Quicksilver Armor - While not mercury, the Solaris Central Laboratory’s “Quicksilver Equipment” line is very reminiscent of that element. Transforming cie metal into what is most commonly referred to as “liquid cie” is a difficult process that took decades of trial and error to perfect, but now it is available, for a price, to the general populous. Implants are placed under the skin that have the ability to secrete liquid cie that is designed to flow and then harden in a predetermined fashion, making weapons or armors that are sleek and extremely lightweight. Quicksilver Armor forms over the body of the implanted, from head to toe, leaving only enough gaps to permit proper vision, hearing, and respiration. While as strong as cie, this quicksilver will bend and shift with the wearer, meaning that it will not inhibit his movement. (Class: Medium, Notes: Ultralight)

Quicksilver Shield – While not mercury, the Solaris Central Laboratory’s “Quicksilver Equipment” line is very reminiscent of that element. A Quicksilver Shield comes from the arm, covering the forearm and hand and then flowing outward to make a two-feet in diameter disk that can be used as a normal shield to deflect physical attacks. The implanted is not able to use his hand attached to his shield.

Quicksilver Dagger - While not mercury, the Solaris Central Laboratory’s “Quicksilver Equipment” line is very reminiscent of that element. Implants are placed under the skin that have the ability to secrete liquid cie that is designed to flow and then harden in a predetermined fashion, making weapons or armors that are sleek and extremely lightweight. A Quicksilver Dagger comes from the wrist, covering the hand and then flowing outward to make an unimaginably sharp appendage that looks like an elongated triangle. Stabbing with the dagger is as easy as punching your victim. he implanted is not able to use his hand attached to his dagger. (Class: Light, Notes: Ultralight)
Price: 20,000 Credits
Quicksilver Blade - While not mercury, the Solaris Central Laboratory’s “Quicksilver Equipment” line is very reminiscent of that element. A Quicksilver Blade comes from the wrist, covering the hand and then flowing outward to make a thick double-edged blade that is about three-feet in length. The blade forms perpendicularly to the arm, so the action of swing the sword is identical to any other sword. he implanted is not able to use his hand attached to his sword.
