Berregar Ironhoof is a minotaur who left his nomadic tribe in The Wastelands to travel the world. Berregar may look threatening, but he is surprisingly friendly for a member of the minotaur race, and has incredible talent when dealing in metal working. How he ended up in Elyndrel Village is somewhat of a mystery, as one night he simply appeared rummaging around inside the Blacksmith Shop. His skills became apparent when he decorated it with his work. As it turns out, Berregar was a Master Blacksmith, and rather than send him on his way, Krauser Killener titled him the Head Blacksmith of Elyndrel Village.
Berregar happily stays at the Blacksmith Shop most of the time, and when he isn’t there he is idly wandering the dirt paths of Elyndrel Village, or in the tavern. As a minotaur he cannot speak alloud, but usually speaks to customers telepathically or with gestures and grunts. It is quite obvious that Berregar is incredibly powerful, and he has plenty of experience in the battlefield. He is covered in various scars and always carries a massive warhammer on his belt. During his third night in Elyndrel Village a small group of assassins trailed a couple of badly wounded native solarians from the forest, nearly into the village. Berregar had been out collecting some wood and saw the attack, he rushed the group of assassins, badly wounding two of them, and killing the third. Even though he had never met the two solarians before, he protected them from the assassins and helped them to the Inn. From that point on, Berregar decided to stay as Head Blacksmith and became a Protector of Elyndrel Village as well. Inside the Blacksmith Shop Berregar keeps a baby tulvarian in a large cage. It’s obvious he’s quite fond of it, and apparently claimed it at some point during his travels across the land before he settled down in Elyndrel. |
