The Solarian Lore
Obel’jon has many names throughout ancient Solarian history, including the Dark God, Malevolent Jon, the Trickster, Dal’jon, Obel’jon, the Lord of Watchers, and of course simply, Obel. It is believed that sometime during the creation of the Nomaverse the Almighty God, Noma, created Obel’jon. The reason is argued by many, some believed that even as a god Noma needed some sort of companion and so created one. Others believed Obel’jon was created on accident when Noma expelled the dark and chaotic energies from Perma Tarn.

Obel’jon is believed to have been quite sinister by many Easterners, while Westerners saw him as the "Keeper of All" which is yet another of his many names. Before the Second Flux many Westerners worshipped Obel’jon as their only God. Westerners held firm to the belief that the only God that truly existed was Obel'jon. They also firmly believed that Noma was nothing more than a name used by the fools of the eastern lands. It isn’t for certain what happened to the Westerners after the Second Flux, some believe those that were “Chosen” had been taken to a safe haven to be with their God, while those Westerners who were not chosen simply fled into the sea to become one with the oceans of planet Solaris.

It is said that Obel’jon has made several deals with Westerner folk over the years, and it is believed that because of this an entire league of Elders were brought together as the group known only as the “Watchers”. It is believed their power and abilities are gifts from Obel’jon, and they do only his bidding when the time comes, nomatter the consequences. <bgsound src="theme.mid">
