Goblins are small, green creatures that are cowards by nature. Their cousin, the Orc, are much bigger and less intelligent. They would attack each other in a battle, but goblins are smart enough to know not to Attack their own team. There are varying degrees of goblins; they can be mothers, warriors, loners, etc. Goblins are basically like a human but small and green. Their cousins (Orcs) have enslaved the goblins since history has even told of Orcs or goblins. But in a few colonies the goblins have created more advanced weapons and have revolted against the Orcs and escaped the colonies. Myth has is that they built underground villages and harvest the mysterious Mad Cap Mushroom. Which has been known to raise their Attack dramatically, but there are many ill side affects, they include: madness, very high blood pressure, so high they die, instant death, and stupidity. Goblins are scavengers except when in large groups, and then they can Attack almost any foe with minimal casualties.
The goblins have shown intelligence, not very high in any area, but they have seemed to get a very firm grasp on machinery and gadgets. They have been known to build weapons similar to flame throwers, and have even harnessed electricity. The chosen class of warriors among Goblins is that of a knight/mercenary, but some have even became some very adverse mages, usually specializing inn poisons and fauna magics. Among the breeds of Goblins, two have stuck out to be the dominant species. First, is the "Lytoid-arubus", your typical goblin, small, green, frail, stupid, but agile. These are the most common. Then, you have your "Litid-arubus". This breed is amazingly large, and very strong. Usually referred to as "Goblin grunts", they can grow to be up to 8 feet tall, and as strong as a large gargoyle or minotaur. This is the muscle class of the goblins. Although, they have almost no intelligence whatsoever. They speak with grunts, and are usually trained from birth to follow orders. The goblins once massed a great army of grunts, and fought a large war with their cousins (Orcs). In the end, both races were left in ruins, and most became scavengers. Grunts are efficient with axes and large clubs. They can use maces and other blunt objects as well, but swords and other light weapons are usually tossed aside. |
