What is a questing session?
Questing sessions are the primary means for a character in the game to gain credits. For civilians, questing also provides a small power level gain.
Short story, or post chat transcript...
Like a training session, players are allowed to either write up a short story of their characters questing, or go into a chatroom and type the whole thing out and then post the transcript. Both methods are perfectly acceptable, however, there should be absolutely no chat transcript from any other characters in your questing sessions. If you do a questing session from inside the chats, do it alone.
Things to remember...
Questing sessions may only be done by characters within the proper level range.
All posted questing sessions must be tagged properly when posted!
Questing sessions must be completed as detailed in the description. If it says "go to the forest and gather wood" you MUST write a session about your character traveling to the forest and gathering wood.
All questing sessions must be posted in the "Questing Session" forum located on the main forums of Solaris RPG.
Questing sessions are judged by detail and length. You will not get points for a few sentences and any submitted sessions must be at minimum 250 or more words.
There is no limit to how often you can submit a questing session, and many are repeatable.
There should be NO chat transcript from other characters included in your own questing session. Questing sessions should be done alone, preferably not even in the chatrooms but written as a "story" in a word processor and posted.
If you are caught trying to post repeat questing sessions (the same one over and over) you will be unable to submit future training sessions, as that character again. Your character will also lose a total of fifty percent of his entire power level. THIS IS CHEATING! DON'T TRY TO DO IT.
Even though it sometimes makes a lot of sense, characters should not come out of a questing session with any items, unless otherwise stated in the questing sessions rewards.
No questing session may involve any NPC (creatures or otherwise) without permission from a staff member or administrator.
