Gargoyles are originally from the realm of Earth, but like many other races began to appear several thousand years ago through dimensional rifts. Their bodies are comprised completely of living stone. This is what gives them their exceptional physical defense, and superior strength. They have large claws for hands, which are used as climbing tools, but also very agile weapons.

The Gargoyle is an excellent physical fighter. The magical aspects of the Gargoyle, are not as great as their physical attributes. In fact, it's their primary weakness. Gargoyles have little magical defense, making wizards and mages their most feared opponents.

Gargoyles are a very proud, stout, and honor bearing race. They hold honor in the highest regard, even the most evil of them. To win the respect of a Gargoyle, is a feat in itself. They are often hostile and rude to new people they meet, but, given time, can prove to be a very powerful ally. They will listen to whoever wishes to talk, although they will seem to be ignoring, or frankly not give a damn about anything someone is saying. They are quite intelligent, but usually try and hide it, for they think intelligence is something that shouldn't be shared. All in all, the Gargoyle is a warrior to be reckoned with.
Racial Ability 1:
Flight - A gargoyle’s animated stone wings give them the power to fly along with a character’s ability to utilize energy for flight. This makes them much more graceful in the sky and makes it nearly impossible to topple them while airborne, even in tornado-like winds. (Passive Ability)
Racial Ability 2:
Stone Form - The gargoyle turns himself into an impenetrable stone statue for up to five turns. Each turn that he is in Stone Form, he is unable to act in any way, but he is unable to take damage and he regenerates hit points equal to 10% of his Health PVS. (Action Ability)
Racial Ability 3:
Armor Mastery - Increase the maximum physical defense rating (P-DEF) and maximum force defense rating (F-DEF) of any armor by 5%. (Passive Ability)
