Guardians are ancient beings that were created thousands of years ago to do the work and the fighting that the Great Elders didn't want to do. The Elder's constructed a temple, the temple known as the Guardian Temple, and enchanted it in many ways. One of these ways was the way of the Guardians. Other than that the temple appears to be completely indestructible, any Guardians in its walls cannot be harmed. From the outside of the temple the structure doesn't appear quite as large as it seems to be on the inside, many actually say that the internal tunnels of the Guardian Temple are endless in length and one not familiar with the structure could get lost forever in its walls.
Guardians can be born one of two ways; normally they are formed from a carved stone tablet of the magical creature and then brought to life later on when they are needed for a purpose. The beings actually walk right out of the stone tablet on the wall and become just as real as the being that carved them from the stone. The second way a Guardian is born is through way of an egg. Guardians are usually asexual but sometimes when they are formed they can be either male or female. Guardians range in all sizes from that of a dwarf to that of a small giant. They were usually designed to look somewhat like a dragon-like humanoid usually with a tail but not always. They do not sleep, the only time they rest is when they remain in their stone tablets, and if these tablets are destroyed then they can never rest again. When they don't rest they tend to slowly become very angry and after several years of no rest so called good Guardians usually become bad Guardians. They need to eat, but only once every few weeks. When they do eat their food usually ranges from meats to fruits to other foods, they aren't picky. They have an extreme sense of honor and they love the nature of the world around them. Guardian's also have the ability to tranform their body so that they appear to be more humanoid, some Guardians have been known to transform so well that it is nearly impossible to tell whether the they are a Guardian, Human, or even a Solarian from their appearance. |

Racial Ability 1:Ageless - Guardians don’t show physical or mental signs of aging. Though they increase in years, they never appear to grow older. (Passive Ability) Racial Ability 2:Rebirth - Once per battle, when reduced to zero hit points, the guardian can immediately heal himself for 20% of his Health SVS. (Reaction Ability) Racial Ability 3:War Machine - When wielding a shield, the guardian is able to make a parry roll against force attacks and block them with his shield. (Passive Ability) |
